The MACC BAM Project - Measures to Accelerate the Mediterranean Business Angel Market – is carried out within the MED Program and is co-financed by the European Commission.

The project aims at enabling public partner institutions to conceive and implement joint measures in order to support the Business Angels’ Networks throughout the Mediterranean, hence fostering investments in start-up companies with strong potential for growth.

Project goals:

• Promote public support for the development of Business Angels and their Networks;

• Assess and strengthen the economic and innovation policies that could create transnational synergies;

• Foster the involvement of the public sector in co-investment funds;

• Support joint initiatives so as to establish a common platform to uphold the Business Angels’ Mediterranean Network and the growth of innovative entrepreneurship at the European level.

Il Progetto MACC BAM - Measures to Accelerate the Mediterranean Business Angel Market – è realizzato nell’ambito del Programma MED e cofinanziato dalla Commissione Europea.

Scopo del progetto è l’ideazione e l’implementazione di misure congiunte finalizzate a supportare le reti dei Business Angel nell’area del Mediterraneo da parte delle istituzioni pubbliche partner, quale mezzo per favorire l’investimento in imprese a forte potenziale di crescita, nella loro fase di avviamento.

Obiettivi del progetto:

• Promuovere il supporto pubblico allo sviluppo dei Business Angels e dei loro network;

• Valutare e rafforzare le politiche economiche e d’innovazione che possono creare sinergie a livello transnazionale;

• Favorire la partecipazione pubblica in fondi di co-investimento;

• Supportare iniziative congiunte per creare una piattaforma comune a sostegno del network mediteranneo dei Business Angel e della crescita dell’imprenditoria innovativa a livello europeo.
